The writer I linked to says something about photographic insanity being when you buy lenses that cost half as much as your car. In my case, I own a lens that, at $800, cost notably more than three of the motor vehicles I've owned. But then, my cars are typically 15 to 20 year old things that might be generously called 'mechanics' specials.'
Well, the plumber is coming today, and then there's a meeting of the Northwestern University Animé Club that Danae invited me to.
