Now that I have The Wall on CD, I'm hearing things in it that I've never heard before. Until now, I'd only heard it in relatively low-quality digital formats. It impresses on me how much I value physical media, though I realize FLAC might be equivalent.

I'm also reminded that during a recent confrontation with a crazy horn-blowing garbage truck driver (I'll write about that momentarily), it occurred to me that what I was most worried about was damage to my hearing.
