stormdogWoke up late with a sore throat today. I really didn't feel like dealing with bad air around the miniatures operation on top of an already irritated airway, so I ended up staying home. It's mostly better now, but I doubt that would be the case if I had gone in. Interestingly enough, my brother is also staying home from school today, which I didn't realize 'till he left his room a minute ago. I guess he heard me playing with my guitar for a while. I was even, umm, singing a little. I'm kind of embarrassed, 'cause I'm really not good enough to try to sing and play at the same time yet.
On the subject of music, Benjie introduced me to a group called The Eels, who produce some really good stuff. Their 'Woman Driving, Man Sleeping' is planted firmly in my brain. It's been a long time since I put a song on repeat and just listened to it a bunch of times.
Seems George is also sick today with a bit of laryngitis. I wish whatever bug is hanging around the area and randomly annoying everybody would just go away. I haven't been really sick lately, but every once in a while I've felt a sort of malaise for a day, as if I'm going to be coming down with something, then it goes away. Anyway, seems I'll be taking George out shopping today since he doesn't have a vehicle. I've been enjoying having a day to myself, but he's willing to buy me lunch so I can deal with that. ^_^
A certain attractive, intelligent, and very sweet woman keeps appearing in my thoughts at random, though fairly frequent, intevals. This is not at all objectionable.
