stormdogThe new seat post without the wiggle from the worn-out suspension makes the ride feel *so* much more solid! And I don't even miss the suspension. It probably wasn't doing very much anyway.
It couldn't be *that* easy though. The old seat post was really sticky so I greased the new one. As well as getting white lithium grease on my sweat pants, I also have a seat post that slooooowly slides down into the frame while I ride. I might have to try to clean some of the grease back off if the problem doesn't resolve on its own in a week or so.
