Even though being away for a week has done wonders for my level of cope in general, and despite, or perhaps because of, having had a fantastic evening and a good night's sleep, my brain decided to be painfully anxious this morning. Anxious about Danae, anxious about my boyfriend, anxious about work, anxious about therapy this afternoon, anxious about being anxious...

Stupid brain. I'm feeling mostly better now. Brain chemicals are so weird.

A few of us were talking about gender last night and characterized it as a poorly implemented design feature. "Who coded this all this crap? It makes no sense!"
