stormdogThis little one was visiting the tree behind our balcony this morning, along with no less than 6 wood pigeons at the same time!
I've taken to calling these birds "lesser Dutch tuxedo-coated birb-birbs" because they look black and white most of the time. I didn't realize they had this beautiful blue color too! You can tell they are the lesser ones because the greater Dutch tuxedo-coated birb-birb are nearly four feet tall.
(Yes, I still know nothing about birds.)
