This little one was visiting the tree behind our balcony this morning, along with no less than 6 wood pigeons at the same time!

I've taken to calling these birds "lesser Dutch tuxedo-coated birb-birbs" because they look black and white most of the time. I didn't realize they had this beautiful blue color too! You can tell they are the lesser ones because the greater Dutch tuxedo-coated birb-birb are nearly four feet tall.
(Yes, I still know nothing about birds.)

This little one was singing outside our window yesterday.

The cheap tripod I ordered from Bol arrived and I can take birb pictures! This birb is hanging around on a tree near our balcony right now.

This bird was sitting on a tree outside our apartment.

From my trip to the park today with Poesjkin.

I know basically nothing about birds.

What kind of bird is it? I dunno. I think it can fly and stuff, so it's not a penguin.

ETA: Oops! I forgot to mention that there is a small wire-enclosed aviary in the park near our apartment. That's where this little bird (who commenters on Facebook have identified as an Australian Diamond Dove) lives!

A bird in the park today.
