Neither of us want to deal with being landlords, but neither of us wanted to deal with our condo burning either.
The therapy helps significantly. She (the therapist) uses EMDR, which is a methodology that sounds a little woo, but it's evidence-based and has been remarkably effective. It was making a big difference for Miriam in treating the PTSD from working for an emotionally abusive person in the Netherlands.
