I used to love them *so* much when I was a kid going with my parents, and that love kind of carried me into continuing to go for a long time. But I've realized that I just don't know what to do with myself a lot of the time. Even that paradigm of socialization doesn't work well for me: parties are stuffed with people, too loud to talk in, and are often based on alcohol consumption when I don't drink.
