New Hair!

99% of the time, I've worn my hair either in a pony tail, or down with a center part for about 25 years. It's time to do something different.

It's time to make a lot of changes to my appearance. I've had four sessions of laser and my facial hair is a lot more under control, so I'm going to finally start trying to figure out more makeup. I'm still terribly intimidated because of the prosopagnosia and not really being able to visualize what faces are supposed to look like, but I'm motivated enough to get past that. I'm going to get a second set of earlobe piercings because I think that will be fun. And I'm going to try hard at learning to braid my hair again.

I wanted a second set of lobe piercings but was told my lobes were too small (they are tiny).

Braids can be a lot of fun as can all the hair furniture!

Oh sad! I was inspired to think about more lobe piercings by a character in this wonderful anime called My Dressup Darling who was three sets! It's easy to look cute when you're an animated character...

Well before I realized I was a girl, I *loved* getting fem braids at the renaissance faire I used to go too. Once, when I asked for a crown braid, the braider felt the need to warn me that it was typically a style women asked for. Ha! If only I'd have listened better!

Have you thought of layers? I have come around to layers since I can't braid my hair worth shit and the best I can do is scrunch it up in an alligator clip.

Miriam has been suggesting layers, which I might do if I go out and get my first professional haircut in a good quarter-century. I don't quite understand how they will make my hair look, but it seems to have promise. :)
