I used to be so good about tracking expenditure in a budgeting program. I keep trying to start, and then things happen that crash my mental health. I'm going to try to start catching up with entering and categorising things in Quicken, but I have months to do; since the middle of June.
I'll try not to get too distressed about it and just catch up slowly. Maybe half a month a day or something like that.
But this is just one thing of a group that I'm trying to get started on to feel more in control of my life now that I'm back home and finally not going anywhere for a while. I'm really scared that something awful is going to happen again soon, but I'm going to try to act on the assumption that it's not. Getting a handle on money is, I think, one of the most significant things I can do to improve my mental health right now, as long as I'm up to doing it.
