stormdogSpent a very pleasent night at Syn's apartment. I went over after work yesterday. We spent a while talking gaming. Though I'm not quite as into all the various systems and their comparative merits as he is, it was fun. He showed me a really interesting looking diceless sysem called Nobilis that I may have to look into further. He talked about getting me into the Camarilla LARP down there, but I'm not too certain about that idea. I've never been one to do well in large groups. We'll see.
Later, we went out and got some really great pizza from a place I can't remember the name of, and a movie. We ended up deciding on 'The Bourne Identity'. I've read the book but hadn't seen the movie. He'd seen the movie and hadn't read the book. Another interesting looking movie called 'American Movie' also caught my eye. Seems to be about two guys who are trying to make a movie. Sounded really interesting actually, though it was the two long-haired guys on the cover that originally caught my notice...
Anyway, it was a good movie. It's been a good while since I read the book, but it seems to me the movie was a lot less complicated, but I suppose that's to be expected. Also thought the actors playing the leads looked a lot younger than I thought of the characters being. But it was a decent movie anyway. I must admit I kind of lost track of it once or twice, particularly when Syn started petting my hair. ^_^
Finally we went to bed, as it was past midnight when the movie was over. It's such a wonderful simple happiness to go to sleep cuddled up with a friend. Touch is such a wonderful thing. I don't want to sleep because I don't want to miss any of it. Every moment is a new inspiration. Thanks Syn, I had a nice time. *g*
