steviemaxwell just dropped off the control box for the Cobalt Flux pad that I picked up from him earlier today, so I plugged it in and gave it a try. I have two observations.

Firstly, this piece of hardware is a joy to use. The timing is so much better than the vinyl and foam things I've been using up to this point.
Secondly, it's kind of scary how out of shape I am. I played a series of three quick songs that would have been a good warm up a year ago. Today, they left me panting on the couch. I am definitely going to begin devoting an hour a day to DDR or I think I'll be in danger of becoming a major league couch potato.
