(no subject)

Well, my dad's doing ok. Seems the doctors don't know exactly what the problem is. They thought it might be epiglottits(sp?), which is a potentially serious condition involving swelling in the throat that blocks the windpipe, but it seems that wasn't it. It may be a sinus infection that spread into the throat. He'd had a nasty cough for about a week before he started having trouble breathing today. But anyway, after some worried time spent in the waiting room with my mom and brothers, we got to see him and he's looking ok. He's going to be at the hospital for a day or two still, but I can stop worrying. Well, I won't worry as much, anyway. They also found that he has some severe acid reflux problems which he wasn't aware of, so maybe they'll do something about that too and he'll be feeling even better once he gets out.

And my mom has a job interview with Abbot's on Monday. Yay! She's been unemployed or doing part-time work
for about six months now, I think. It's been a long time anyway. I hope this job works out for her.

As for me, I just took a shower so I'm cold and tired. I'm gonna snuggle up with a plushy and go to sleep. I've gotta get to work in the morning. Woof. I think they'll understand if I'm a little late and/or groggy though...
