Apr. 23rd, 2003 09:56 pmI was at work late today. We've got some large number of figures to produce again. I can't remember how many because I'm really not that interested. But I learned today that I need to eat better at work. I had pizza for breakfast, then Ravioli-O's ™ and Kool-Aid ™ for lunch. (Yes, I'm playing with the trademark symbol. Because I can. I'm easily amused...) By the end of the day I was feeling a little fuzzy. Actually, a lot fuzzy, and I'm not referring to body fur... Too much starch and sugar, my mother tells me. After it all wore off I wasn't good for doing much work.
But I got home and ate a bit and felt much better. So now I can go off to work for another long day tomorrow. Bleh... I got home today, played a little Dance Dance (I really really want one of these by the way...) then showered and went upstairs, where I turned off the lights and got cozy in front of my bedside computer. I love having a house network...
Here's fun for you. Last night I found this. It's a remix of Nine Inch Nails' 'Down In It', with lyrics entirely spoken by an operator with the TTY text telephone relay system for the deaf. It's called 'Dialing In It'. It's wonderfully strange and post-modern (two things I like a lot) and I recommend giving it a listen. For more of their stuff, check out their web page. I found 'Raving With Fries' pretty amusing too...
And in 8 days now (it just became Thursday), I will once again see the person who has become my world... I'd dreamed of love, but she made those dreams real, and so much more... I love you, my dear one.
