(no subject)

I'm spending tonight flopped out in bed after taking an early shower. Still reading Neil Gaiman's 'Neverwhere'. I clearly recall days when I'd finish a book like that in a night. I got through 5 to 6 books a week in high school. Mainly, I suppose, because I didn't really care whether I fell asleep in class. I even had an open book in my hands walking between classes most of the time. It wasn't like I had many people to talk to in the hall. *shrug* But that's neither here nor there. Well, maybe a little there... I miss spending so much time reading, but Real Life ™ makes it's demands.

I ended up browsing through Serinthia's Live Journal after seeing Steviebear mention her in his. (I love the interesting connections one makes through livejournal.) Once I'm on my primary computer tomorrow, I may make her my first friend who I don't know outside LJ and who didn't friend me first. I'm envious of her career as a computer techie. Someday, I hope...

I leave for Michigan on Friday morning. Just 3 days now 'till I can see my love... *far away smile*
