(no subject)

Got my C drive reformated and Windows reinstalled on Eeyore, my primary system, today. It's needed it for some time. The third monitor is still giving me grief, but I don't care, 'cause at least it works. Tomorrow, if I have time, I get to start working on organzing all the odds and ends of data I've got sitting around from the last few reinstalls. Assuming I feel like doing that instead of going outside or something. I'd love to get out on my bike again, but I looked at it and I don't know how to fix whatever's wrong with it. *shrug*

Mailed out the ammeter I sold on E-bay today, the money order having arrived in the mail. Money is good, and so is getting rid of old stuff that's cluttering up my space.

My dad, along with most of the rest of the people in Kenzer and Company's employ, is leaving for Origins tomorrow. He's working the booth in the huckster's room and running some demos and maybe even a Hackmaster game or two. Plus he'll be getting a good number of overtime hours, as Kenzer is offering a flat 8 hours on the clock per day for working the con, which goes from Wednesday through Sunday. Not too bad, but I'm not really interested in going. I like small, sci-fi/fantasy/furry cons. This is a very large gaming con, which is a completely different animal. I know I've mused here about how much fun Gen-Con, a simiar gaming con, was for so many years, but I understand now that that was because of the time spent with friends and family working there. Now that my dad and his group are no longer running the games library (in fact, there isn't a games library anymore...), there's just not much there for me.

My dear one had a long day today. I think I woke her up when I called. Sorry my love. *kisses and snuggles* I miss you so amazingly much...
