Jul. 23rd, 2003 06:57 pmSo today, I decided, I would program the number on my cell-phone and call the electrician's union during lunch at work. I jotted down questions to ask and information I wanted and I went outside with my food to make the call, and I was feeling very professional and together despite my trepidation about the phone call. I needn't have worried. All I found out was that I need to go to the training center and apply in person on the first working Monday of the month, where I assume they will give me more information. Well, at least I know what I need to do, I was just hoping I could get more accomplished. I'm not going to be entirely at ease until I have a better grip on my job situation for my move. I want to be sure I'm ready to hold up my end of things.
I think I'm going to try selling my truck on E-bay. I've been watching a similar truck being auctioned, and the result was pretty satisfactory. Once I figure out how to ship it, I'm selling my Fender too. Never did like that stupid thing. Got paid for my clarinet, and that was cool.
I've finally figured out how to use those pony tail holders where you wrap a piece of patterned leather around the tail and put a stick through it. Scrunchies are well and good, but I like being a little bit stand-outish sometimes, and I think they look really good. I'm definately going to wear one to the Bristol faire come next week.
Other than that, the day went quickly. Somehow, packing Final Days boxed sets seems to make the hours fly by. Or perhaps it was all the daydreaming I've been doing of last weekend, and the one to come. Andrea left me a message on my voice mail as I was driving home, just to tell me she loves me. I am luckier than I ever could have hoped, to have her. 9 more days...
