Aug. 5th, 2004 11:18 pmI promise I'll write the cheery and typically long sort of post that you've come to expect from me soon. Maybe I'll even write this weekend while
wooisme and I are in Wisconsin to see my family and our Bristol/Chicago people. For now though, I'm just tired.
I shipped the last of the previous ebay batch today, including the 4 foot tall dressmaker's form that had to go specially by UPS. Over the last two weeks Andrea has sold and I have shipped over $800 dollars worth of ebay items. Of course, most of it is going to good old Uncle Sam, but that's still money we would otherwise have had to pull out from various bodily orifices, and I don't think Uncle Sam appreciates stained and/or discolored currency, so that's probably just as well. Speaking of currency, I have 3 paychecks sitting on the table that I've been too busy to deposit, and a fouth one coming in the mail on Tuesday. At least I'll have a chunk of change in the bank as I (voluntarily this time) leave my current employment. Again, more on that later.
I'm tired. I need to get laundry out of the basement and get to bed. There's a long trip tomorrow...
