(no subject)

I just applied for a PC tech job in Southfield with a manufatured home community company. Sounded like something I might really be decent at so I did the whole cover letter and all. It takes me so long to write those things; I think I'm too much of a perfectionist. I have to make it feel right. In the meantime, I'm almost done with my current class. I hope to be ready soon to take the three Microsoft exams that comprise the MCSA cert and open up more horizons for myself. These are tough, but they're making more sense with each passing class and the studying I'm doing. Did you know that Microsoft has a downloadable ISO image that's just a huge course on DNS? They have a six hour online security clinic in two parts as well. Wow, I didn't know M$ had any really useful stuff like that. I'm pleasantly surprised.

I cleaned the bedroom today! I have huge piles of laundry yet to do, but I can tackle those over the course of the next few days and finish up. But the room in general is done, and it's so nice! I even took all of our faire garb that was lying about in random places and got it all together. We have a real garb closet now. Of course now I have to fight off entropy and clean up the stuff that's accumulated in the other rooms I've cleaned again, but they're not nearly as bad as they were.

I continue to be nervous about the job search, but I got my test scores and new resume to the placement coordinator at New Horizons so she'll be looking for opportunities for me as well. She said it's been kind of slow lately, but as always something might just come along.
