Dec. 16th, 2004 10:17 amMy first week of full-time employment in the Ford SPOC call center hasn't been treating me too badly. I'm a little frustrated about not having as much time to study and clean up as I'm used to, but I'm still entirly glad to be working where I am. This beats cleaning cell-phone cases by a wide margin. Don't even get me started on making speedometer cables and fuel gauges.
I've got ebay packages to mail today that I was going to ship out during lunch. Unfortunately, I forgot to take them with me this morning. I get out of work at four, but by the time I get home the post office will have closed. I'm going to try to get to the one at St. Claire Shores. Maybe once I get back I'll have some time to work on my practice exam. I am increasingly annoyed with myself for not having spent more time on it when I had the chance. Somehow, I managed to not find the time for this over the three months that I was only working part time. *sigh* I feel bad about not having used that time to do more online gaming with my brothers too. I really need to work on time management skills I think. Does anyone have good recommendations for that?
farmcat already mentioned a few things to me.
I think that'll all be a lot better once
wooisme is working from home though. I just know she's going to be so good at doing Ebay full time and she'll be much happier too! It sounds like things at work are going downhill again (as chronicled in her journal) and I'm hoping she gets out of there soon. It's an evil place and not good for raccoons and other living things.
I'm lookning forward to our trip to see our family over Christmas. We have lots of fun presents for people! Plus, I really really miss hanging out with those people. I want to spend just a night or two with my brothers, up all night playing video games like we used to. Maybe not on this trip, but after we move. I'm going to be having people over for LAN parties a lot if I have my way...
Looking forward to our trip to Mollyland for
imandunewen's graduation party this weekend too! Congratulations Molly!
It's lunch-time; I'm going to make some peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches in about three minutes when my lunch hour starts. Unless I get a phone call between now and then. Here's crossing my fingers. *grins*
