Mar. 29th, 2005 01:52 pmI'm a bad doggy step-dad. It just occurred to me that I've hardly even thought about Kuma since we dropped him off at my parents house this weekend. I must call them and see how he's doing after I get off work today. I've been checking in with Andrea on my breaks and she seems good too. She told me not to fuss over her last time I called. Right; like that's going to happen.
The two of us are going out to Dragonmead tonight to get together with
laureth and her sweetie tonight. (This is the right week, right? Things have been so confused lately...) I'm really looking forward to that. I'm going to order some pizza to pick up on the way home, pick up foodstuffs and a pretty raccoon girl, and then we're off.
Or perhaps we'll be off after a short stop to toss the two bags of garbage that I set in the bed of the truck to throw away the day before Andrea cleaned her car out and, in the space of the time it took me to get in the truck and drive out of the parking lot, forgot about. I should take care of that soon.
Honestly though, they don't smell that badly. The weather was so warm today that I went outside to read and just lied down on the strip of carpet in the bed of my truck while I finished reading Round Trip to Deadsville. As the Beatles said, it feels like years since we've been here; it's such a beautiful thing for it to have finally arrived. Work is dragging today; I want to be outside!
