What is irony? Being told that you've just recieved a 'merit increase' (AKA a 3.6% raise) when you're going to resign the next work day.

*sighs*

At least I'll have a higher figure to put for my ending salary on job applications...

I'm going to tell my manager at lunch today what's going on. I'm really stressed about this, but I think it's a good idea.

It seems I'm going to wait 'till Monday afterall. Instead of talking to my manager, I napped in the bed of my truck and talked to Andrea all through lunch break. It was so nice to be outside and have my beloved's voice in my ear... I'm rather less stressed now. Thank, you sweetie.
