Dec. 8th, 2006 01:02 pmI've added a live version of The Pogues' Fairytale of New York to the tempmusic directory on my server at Andrea's request. I've also added a complete Beatles Christmas record; you can get them both at the link I put in my previous entry.
I note that some wise-ass downaloaded the MFF05.rar file I'd forgotten I had in my music directory. I'm amused, largely because it's the sort of thing I would have done myself. I'm vaguely embarrassed by the picture of my bare-chested self in tights, but for the most part it's just shots of various people around the con. I was playing with my Canon Powershot A85 at a con for the first time, so I was getting used to different conditions and settings. Hope you enjoy them! I believe my video of the revolving door at the front of the hotel is in there too; that's one's worth a look and a laugh.
On a final note for today, I've been going through Japanese program within the Rosetta Stone software that
serinthia gave to me (thank you so much Serin!) and it's been really great! Perhaps the total immersion approach isn't that bad a way to go.
Going by the pictures associated with the phrases I've learned, not to mention the mental images that such phrases conjure up, I thought I'd just point out that I am definitely very much in favor of おんなのひとはほんおよんでいます。 What can I say; I'm a sucker for geek-girls (or boys). I'm also a pretty big proponent of the picture for おんなのひとたち、 To sum them up in one word: かわいい!
