If I understand the grammar involved correctly, I have my name in Japanese:

嵐の犬

That's あらしのいぬ (arashi no inu), or essentially, dog of storms. How 'bout it [livejournal.com profile] samiitiger; does that sound right to you? I'm looking more for a 'dog that belongs to storms' connotation rather than the other way 'round, but I suspect I'm far from being able to grasp subtleties of phrase like that yet.

Work is fairly quiet today, fortunately. I have a person who set our 'everyone' mailing list that comprises everyone in our company as a delegate of her email account in Outlook. I can only think that she was trying to get access to send email to it. Didn't work, but kind of amusing. Fortunately, the side effect of making it her delegate, which would be to send copies of all of her meeting requests to everyone in the entire company, did not happen either because she does not have send permission to that list.

I'm using the slowness today to try to catch up on administrative new hire and termination stuff. How are everyone else's days going?
