(no subject)

The last email in this chain came in on Friday evening, just after I left for the day. The amusement of seeing it first thing Monday was greatly appreciated. As background, we have had a great deal of trouble historically getting backups to run successfully, either because someone doesn't log out of the system at the right time, or just because Symantec BackupExec decides to be temperamental (which it does frequently).

Coworker:

Whew!

What a dat!

Coworker:

Day even. I'm so frazzled I can't spell!

Me:

You mean you weren't referring to a tape drive? You've probably had more than enough of those for a while....

Coworker:

If there were a hell designed just for me, the heat would be generated by flaming tape drives, and it would be my job to fix them all.

Hey; which of you among my readership still play the occasional bit of Diablo II? I just got it installed this weekend on my freshly built game machine and it's occupied some of my attention. I just got my barbarian up to level 13, and it would be kind of fun to play with people I know, if anyone plays that game anymore.

Anyone?
