Feb. 12th, 2008 08:50 amMy dad has moved his blog over to Livejournal at barton-fender.livejournal.com. He had it elsewhere and I being a creature of habit, wasn't managing to read it reliably. I have different sets of bookmarks on all of the four or five computers that I regulary use and I kept losing track of the address and I have so much going on that I didn't manage to put the effort in to keep track of it everywhere. I feel bad about that and was going to suggest, when I see him on Wednesday, that he move to Livejournal, so I'm glad he did, even though I feel rather chagrined at not having put in the time to keep track of it before.
So go look at my dad's blog.
On an unrelated note, I need to buy a pair of decent headphones so I can listen to music at work on days when I'm really annoyed or frustrated about life in general. I wish I could listen to Sarah McLachlan or Shawn Colvin right now.
I went up to Racine last night to help Dwarf out with getting Apache setup on the server I gave him. In return, he gave me completely uasked for and unexpected monetary compensation, dinner, (and lunch for tomorrow), and chocolate. If I didn't know better, I'd say I'd been on a date! *laughs* I also played some Star Wars Battlefront with his friends who were there and had a nice time, though I was getting tired toward the end of the night. You probably won't read this, but thanks, Dwarf.
