I just answered a call to the help desk line. I went through my standard greeting but realized I was being talked over by what sounded like an in-progress conference call. After I stopped and listened, I realized that it was a political speech. Listening more, I realized that it was John Edwards, talking as though he is still running for president and as though the DNC is still in the future. This is sounding like a speech addressed to delegates, actually. In fact, as I type this, a moderator is asking for questions for senator or Mrs. Edwards.
I'm very confused. I rather like what he's saying, but it's a little out of date.
