Jan. 31st, 2009 10:19 amI had some really disturbing dreams last night.
Language slightly cleaned up now that I'm more awake...
The first part involved an old Victorian house, bigger on the inside than the outside, of course. I had to find these three things that were in it. I can't remember what, it's all fading. But the interior was so dark and foreboding. One of the things I had to get was in the lake that that back of the house faced. I stood by the shore and talked to this...frog-thing. I knew that it was wrong to kill it, but I had to. I had to kill it with some kind of blunt instrument as it sat on its rectangular granite pedestal, and I had to tear it up and eat it. It's heart was the worst- cold and soft and wet. I knew that once I'd eaten the frog-thing, another frog-thing would come out of the water and give me what I needed.
And then, after I work up, found that Moira had come back home and went to bed...
I had the second instance of what I think is only the second or third recurring dream I can remember having. I was again trying to go back to school, and I made it to my first class and bicycled home. But it turned out there were more classes, and I biked back, and it took so long to figure out where to lock the bike and my carabiner wasn't working and the cord wasn't long enough to reach the foot of the bookshelf I was securing it to. I met one of my old theater professors briefly in the room I was putting the bike. And then I went into the school, which was in this giant hotel wherein a convention was happening at the same time, and I couldn't find anything or get to anything I needed, and I knew I was missing my classes and that I should be taking notes.
The second part was scary. But the first part was worse.
