Travelin' dog!
Apr. 27th, 2009 06:17 pmSince I seem to be unpopular at work today and have a bunch of tickets in my queue that no one has any help for me on, I thought I'd post a few of my pictures from the weekend! An excellent justification strategy, no? Here's the first half of the trip.
I left the house on time, amazingly enough, at about eight o' clock. I dropped in at my parents' place for a minute, then moved on to Woodman's to get sandwich fixins for me and a snack (some chew-sticks) for Kuma. I spent the next hour smiling after a cashier told me how much she loved my shirt! (A tie-dyed Grateful Dead tee with the teddy bears marching across the front.)
I plugged the address for the Rochelle Railroad Park into my GPS, told it to cacluate for least use of motorways (I have it talking to me in British English), and followed its lead.
Pictures of a flea market, a dog (only of the four legged variety), and bovines, both ferrous and fiberglass, though none free-ranging, follow. ( Click to come with on the drive. )
Oh, hey; construction has now blocked off the stretch of road immediately in front of the cul-de-sac my house is on, so I get to navigate through every morning and evening now. Plus, I have to drive to a central location to pick up my mail, and we don't know how garbage pickup is going to work yet. Whee?
