Jul. 4th, 2010 01:19 amI went wading in the Fountain of Time today. No, that's not a metaphor; I really waded in the Fountain of Time!

posicat and I were picking up nova_wolf from the Greyhound station in Chicago today, so we spent a few hours wandering the city. We made it to the Midway Plaisance to see this sculpture, as I've been itching to get there for some time.
It's huge and impressive and I'll have some more pictures up soon, including some great ones that Posi shot of me! I plan to return at dawn some time when the light conditions will be much better. The entire front side of the fountain is in shadow in the afternoon and evening. It was a really good scouting trip though, and I now know when I want to be there and how I want to shoot it. Yay!
