Apr. 24th, 2012 06:40 pmI'm finally feeling like I have some time today. I'm going to spend the evening going over Spanish stuff, and get to bed early. I'm going to try to get up early enough tomorrow to take my bike to school, finally.
The presentation went well today. My professor said that it must have been a fairly complex article and that I'd presented it well, so that makes me happy!
I treated myself to a little sushi for lunch. It was pre-made from the store on campus, but still expensive for me, who usually brings food from home to eat for lunch. The treat was to celebrate my having been hired by the school for a tech support position for the Summer! I'm feeling much better about money knowing that I have an upcoming source of income. I start the week after finals.
Speaking of which, it's so weird to think that finals are coming in just a few weeks! I have a take-home essay for history to write, and my final for my Southeast Asia class is take home as well, though we won't get it until two days before. Still better than having to study for five major tests in four days.
Tomorrow I'm meeting with people from my Spanish class to study for the oral part of the exam. Tonight, I have enough time to sit down and work on verbs and composition and things for a good long while. That'll make me happy.
On the downside, I just tore my nicest pair of blue jeans (having worn them for the interview) on a sticky-outy part of the kitchen stove here. I'll have to look for some more pants at the Goodwill.
