Apr. 24th, 2013 04:38 pmYesterday, my laptop crashed. I could still get all my notes I'd made the past weekend off of it (good thing I bought that external drive reader at Goodwill last year), but it won't boot due to OS file corruption. I'll have to rebuilt it this Summer.
I had also prepared a check to mail for my student loan payments, then left it at the help desk when I left with my water bottle and notes from my meeting with the language creation group last night. Hopefully tonight will be a little more organized. My day has already been better without the panic of potential file loss. Though I had a few moments of frustration this morning when I realized that, even though I'd left early enough to get to Big!Lots and buy cereal, I'd forgotten my lunch and dinner. *sighs* Scattered dog is scattered. (I left the archives a little early to have time to run out and buy food instead. It's tough working 'till 10:30 without any food since breakfast.)
