A dear, sweet dog departed this world today, in the company of the dear sweet human, Ceilidh, who took care of her. Once, during a visit, Ceilidh told me that Sienna would always be my dog too, in a way. She was special. I'll miss Sienna Smile-a-bull, the first pit bull I got to know in person. She'll occupy a place in my heart for the rest of my life.

On a still serious, but positive note, my brother James Allen received the results of his bar exam today. He passed it handily. My heartfelt and sincere congratulations to him; that's a real accomplishment.
