Dec. 18th, 2013 06:42 pmSo, I mentioned having bought new gloves. Today's test run with them was successful enough that I've decided to cut the plastic cord holding them to the backing and remove the option of return. They are now all mine. Muhahahaha!
It was 16 degrees Fahrenheit (-8.8 Celsius) this morning when I got on my bike. The ride was relatively pleasant, and my left hand, in the mitt, was quite warm the whole ride. My thumb got a little chilly at one point, but warmed up. My other hand, in my older glove, was cold. These aren't as ridiculously warm as the $170 pair, but I think those might actually be *too* warm for the majority of the time. These are a winner!
Here I am, dressed for the ride and staring with pugilistic demeanor into the very face of winter!
