Work, Unexpected Money

I've been so tired after coming home from my first two days at work. It's more physically active than I expected, which is wonderful. I was concerned that I wouldn't be getting the kind of exercise I do while dog walking. In fact, I'm getting more. Apart from lunch, I didn't sit down once today.

I'll write about it more in detail when I'm less tired. For now, a fun discovery. I stopped at a thrift store today to get some jeans for shelter work. When I put them in the wash, I checked the pockets, as always. In the right front pocket of one pair, I found a five dollar bill. "Huh!" I said to the woman in the laundry room with me. "I got these pants at the thrift store today and found five bucks in the pocket! That's awesome. Though it also proves they don't actually wash any of their clothing."

I checked the two back pockets and found nothing. I checked the front left pocket and found...a five dollar bill. "You're not going to believe this...." I said to my co-launderer.

"Do you blog" she said. "'Cause you should put that on Facebook or something! Shopping at the thrift store pays!"

"That definitely belongs online!" I agreed. And now it is.
