Apr. 23rd, 2018 12:04 pmI got up late for me yesterday (around 8 or so) and before Danae. I listened to all of Dark Side of the Moon as I cleaned.
Several times, later in the day, I stopped and looked around at the freshly vacuumed and decluttered carpet and said something like "Well isn't this nice?" Which then made me think of Kurt Vonnegut.
“And I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.” -Kurt Vonnegut
Which made me think of my mother because of another quote that she told me about how "Not a toothache is a wonderful feeling." (I think that's Thich Nhat Hanh.)
Which made me think of my mother, which is always a nice thought.
