I keep looking at free listing on various places for bookshelves to hold the ones in my spare room that I have listed on Amazon. I seem them scattered around the suburbs frequently. However, while having more shelf space would be convenient, but not convenient enough for me to want to drive more than ten or fifteen minutes to get them. Eventually I'm sure there'll be an offer in Evanston. Or I'll find some in the alley behind my building again where the residents of the huge condo building behind ours leave their furniture they're throwing out. I got a great nice Ikea bookcase for our bedroom that way.

Work has shortened hours today through Thursday due to the weather. We open at 9 instead of 7 and close at five instead of ten. I'll probably come in at seven regardless; I don't want to have to flex my time or use PTO, and I like getting home when I normally do instead of too late to do anything useful.

The Saturday Audio Exchange on Belmont has some McIntosh gear. One of these days, I want to stop in and listen to something on it. Maybe they'd let me play The Great Gig in the Sky from Dark Side of the Moon; that's kind of my go-to to listen to how an audio setup handles Clare Torry's singing. The chances of me ever owning that kind of gear myself are pretty slim.

And then there are people who sped $7500 on an amplifier, then decide they don't want it...

The display in this picture reads USB; I really hope its playing flac or some other lossless format. Playing an MP3 through that gear feels like sacrilege.
