Broken Mouse
Aug. 2nd, 2020 02:59 pmOne of the joysticks on my 3-joystick mouse finally stopped working. I tried one where tilting the mouse itself acts as a joystick but it wasn't working out. Then I remembered I have a USB game controller, so I tried that out using JoyToKey to map everything to buttons.
That's working pretty well, but now, instead of the pain I get from long periods of WASD-controls on the keyboard, I have a different (though related) pain from using the controller's D-pad.
I'm so often reminded of a cartoon I saw lately with a doctor asking a patient if they are in any pain.
"No more than usual."
"The usual amount is zero."
Oh my sweet summer child...
