So much to say and not much time to say it. I lost some time to myself tonight because I had to go out to my dentist's office; I decided I had to investigate the increasing pain I've been having in my no-longer-a-wisdom-tooth. Looks like I had what's called a dry socket; the post extraction clot was gone, leaving exposed nerve endings. After some clove oil and repacking, it's feeling much better (even though everything tastes unpleasantly strongly of cloves right now). I was debating letting it go until tomorrow when I had an appointment with him anyway to take the stitch out, but I'm glad I didn't.
I have the nicest dentist on earth, by the way. I honestly wondered, during my first appointment on Wednesday, whether he was primarily a children's dentist just because of the astoundingly calm and gentle manner he always keeps. This is a very good thing for someone who's sticking drills, vacuum nozzles, and other pointy bits in my mouth.
As I said, very much to say about this past weekend. I'm going to see how much I have time to write on my way to and from work tomorrow. In the meantime, a huge thank you to everyone who made this con such a pleasant one. *woofs*
