Feb. 14th, 2007 12:03 pmPierogies with plenty of Sriracha sauce for lunch plus good Thai food for dinner (I'm going to see if they'll make a dish at a four-star spiciness on their one to three scale; maybe it'll be close to as hot as I want it) is going to make me one hot dog today! You can tell it's good when it makes your eyes water and your nose run. Mmmmmm. I'm going to bring my bottle of Sriracha in with me in my laptop bag to the restaurant; then I can spice up my pad thai if I need to.
I'm going to be working in the server room here from eight o' clock in the evening on to whenever we finish moving things around. It's our preventive maintenance night and while one of the server team was supposed to be here to move equipment around prior to the facilities guys coming in to hang new ladder racks for wires, someone got some scheduling confused. Why does this not surprise me?
So Andrea and I are going to meet up after work for Valentine's Day dinner, then go our seperate ways. I'm sure we can make up for the lost time this weekend....
Sounds like Andrea and I are going to Milwuakee tomorrow evening for the furry coffee thing that happens up there. We might have
posicat to accompany us too, so I'm looking forward to a mini-roadtrip.
I got up nice and early today (about 5:30). Andrea suggested, half joking, that I should start getting up early enough to braid her hair in the morning. "Why not", I thought. It won't hurt me any to move my schedule back a few hours. That way I'd have extra time with her in the morning, and be going to bed at the same time in the evening. I like that! I'd been waking up earlier for a while after Andrea started her new job, but I fell out of the habit.
I Haven't managed to get up with her at quarter to four yet, but I did have some time to try out my new Dance Dance Revolution mix this morning, let the dog out for a leisurely excursion into the yard, shower, and still be nearly ready once
serinthia showed up. Beyond that, I felt much more awake and ready to deal with the day than I usually do. I could get used to this.
And in other news, nothing of significance has occurred. I will do my best to keep you fed with up-to-the-minutes reports.
I love you my dear one! Happy Valentine's day to you!
