stormdogI stayed home yesterday, but I'm back to work again today. I figured that if I was home anyway then I'd get some stuff done, but instead I slept 'till about one o' clock and then slacked the rest of the day. Andrea and I snuggled on the couch for a bit and, er, tested video playback on the new computer downstairs with some stuff I'd downloaded. Not too bad at all! Now I just have to get it on the network so I don't have to burn CDs or carry stuff across on my USB drive. I haven't pinned out the USB and audio headers yet either; didn't feel up to doing it. I'll get to it some other time I think; everything I need to have working is working.
Andrea and I had dinner with my mother, brothers, sister-in-relation and Brody, a toddler who belongs to one of the other teachers my dad works with. My dad was out doing rehearsal; I think it's for Stephen Sondheim's Assassins, which sounds like a show I need to go see. I am, of course, now buried at work. Andrea is making Pasta of Love for me tonight. I can't wait to get home! She's going to look for curtain rings so we can get our tapestries hung too. They've been sitting doubled over the bar in our bedroom since we got them.
