Apr. 27th, 2007 06:31 amI have a server at home with a dual PIII Xeon motherboard. It's got one PIII Xeon 1Ghz processor on it. I also have two PIII Xeon 866Mhz that I'd like to drop in instead.
The second processor slot requires a VRM. Now, I have a VRM that I scavenged from a dual PIII non-xeon computer. My question is, will that work as a VRM for a Xeon processor, or do I have to find a different one that's specifically made for a Xeon chip?
