stormdogSomeone sent around an "Are you smarter than a fifth grader" test in my office. About half way through it, the following question is posed: "Who was the first person to step foot on the moon?"
AAAARRGHH!
Regardless of whether I'm smarter than a fifth grader or not, I'm apparently smarter than the addle-pate who came up with this test.
For heaven's sake, if you're going to use a phrase that's so well known that it's become a cliché, however idiomatic it may be, at least do yourself the favor of using it correctly.
