Friday night with nothing to do. Nobody I know is on Trillian. My dad's using the TV so I can't play DDR. Looks like the Dwarf is prob'ly bringing a server of his we found at Chester's, a local misc. electronics store (an old professional Intel server with a Pentium Pro 200 and 5 bay hot swap RAID backplane ^_^), so I can futz around with thrying to install Linux on it. Again. Last time X-windows kept crashing. And I, knowing only slightly more about Linux than I know about sewing (um, stick the fabric under the machine and push the pedal, right? Oh, there's more to it?), couldn't figure out the problem. But I'll try it again I suppose. I'm just not quite as obsessive about working on computer hardware as I once was. I still really love doing it. I just wish I had something more, I dunno, social, to do on a weekend.
Dark Side of the Moon is, I understand, being rereleased in a new remastered version. I've never bought much music, but I'll have money, and I love Pink Floyd, so this could be a good time to add another CD to my collection.
And tonight, I guess I'll read, or wash clothes, or something, and see if anybody gets online...
