stormdogHow is it that despite using the same set of disks I used to setup up my tablet, I cannot for the life of me make the one that I'm setting up for my brother behave? Gah.
I have too much stuff. This is, I'm sure, immediately evident to anyone who has seen my basement or computer room. I'm using some of my time home today (though not as much as I really should be since I keep getting distracted by ephemera) to work on that. I have Ebay copy written for a couple things and have updated my account there with the current address and current card. I'm also going to post a few more things on Freecycle. Before I do that, I want to offer them here.
Also, for those who may be in the know, what's the policy on posting in places like the LAFF email list or on the Livejournal community to offer free hardware? If I don't hear back from any of y'all here, I guess I'll just ask one of the maintainers or mods.

These are going to Freecycle with boot-n-nuked drives in the next week or so unless someone wants them.

sideband, do you still want some? Are you going to be in the area any time soon? - I have a 200Mhz Pentium Pro server in good shape.
- I have a big (and I mean stupid-big) dual Pentium Pro 200 server (one CPU) with a hot-swap RAID backplane. It's a very nice looking IBM PC Server 330; maybe some case-mod possibilities?
