I'm cleaning out the rest of the stuff in my closet and compacting it into a corner and onto shelves so I can fit some more stuff in there. Then I'm going to take the touchscreen LCD on the porch out of its mounting so I can ship it to Michigan along with the 286 luggable.

While I'm at it in there, does anyone want either:

A Bernoulli Box 10+10. This thing is so old that I can't even find a decent picture of it. It's the product that Iomega went public on back around 1982. Mine has two drives that each hold a 10MB disc that looks sort of like a 5 and a quarter floppy on steroids except that it's in a hard plastic case. I have no idea whether it works. Wouldn't know how to begin to find out. I do know that if you plug it in and flip the on switch, it spins up. I have one and only one disk. I am not throwing this out because it's just too unusual, but I'd love for it to go to a good home.

A large, heavy, manual check printer from (probably) the fifties. It's got little levers to set numbers from 0 to 9 and can stamp checks up to 9,999.99. Basically, you fill out the payee and your signature and everything, then you slide the check into the printer and pull a big lever and it stamps the dollar amount on the check. I bought it 'cause I thought it would be fun to use to stamp figures on my checks, but I don't think I'm going to end up using it. Anyone else want it?

Ok, I lied. A couple more things. I have a Motorola bag phone type SCN23951. The last time I had it powered up, it was able to connect to a cell tower and get a no service message. The transceiver is impressive. If you get service on this thing, it would have a hell of a range. Anyone? I guess I'll try Ebaying it otherwise since they seem to be selling at least a little bit.

Also have a Texas Instruments Speak 'N Spell. I used to obsess over one of these when I was little. This one works perfectly. I've put batteries in it, powered it up, and played games.

Darn it! I still have the keyboard that went with that Amiga 2000. [livejournal.com profile] sabrinageek, is it worth hanging on to it for you, or should I just get rid of it? I don't know how common these things are.
