Aug. 27th, 2007 12:05 pmWhile a group of us were in the parking lot of
posicat's apartment building late last week, we were doodling in the dust on the back window of the bed of my truck. I wrote 嵐の犬 (arashi no inu, or Stormdog) in the dust. We were talking about someone who sounded just like Bob from Weeble and Bob and someone drew a picture of a pie. Then, someone wrote the famous pi*r² equation below that. Then, someone, I think my mate, wrote pi ≠ □. pi = ○. There was some other silliness there too, which currently escapes my memory.
I noticed, when going out to my truck on Friday for lunch, that someone had made an addition to the scrawled symbols on my window. "You have AIDS".
That was kind of jarring. I keep wondering why that was put there. I suppose it could have been done at work, but I suspect it happened at home and I just hadn't noticed. Did the scrawler object to my "Hate is not a family value" bumper sticker? Did the doodles draw someone's attention and he just wanted to be a jerk and and that was the first thing that came to mind? It seems like a big coincidence.
While
tybis and I were walking to Miraz to get food on Saturday evening, a few people in a pickup truck yelled something out the window about 'getting fucked in the ass' as they drove by. I wonder if there's a relation. I wonder if it has something to do with the neighbors who don't seem to like us. I'm not too nervous about it all; but I'm not not nervous at all either. *sighs* It's weird that these things happened together. It's sort of like being in school again....
