vandringar maybe?) or thought very much about it. (Or, really, if you just have an opinion too, though hearing about it from a first-hand perspective would be good.)
I may have the chance to move to a job internal to my company that would require about 30% travel. I'm excited about that, but rather nervous at the same time. I'm worried that being away from home will make me unhappy. I'm worred that Andrea will be more frequently limited by having to take care of the dog. I'm worried about missing events that I want to be at 'cause I'm away from home. I wonder if I'll be scared of getting on an airplane.
I'm thinking about this and will probably have a talk with my current manager on Monday and my prospective new manager after that. What do you all think? What's it like?
As a friend of mine who's already in that group told me, if it's more than I want to deal with, I could always quit. That was his idea going in to it.
