stormdogMe) If you look down at the clock on your computer screen, in the bottom right hand part of the screen, you'll see an icon next to it that looks like *describes icon*. Do you see that?
User) I don't have a clock; I just have the time.
Me) I'm sorry, yes, that's what I mean by clock. If you look to the left of the time, you'll see an icon that looks like *describes icon*. If you hover your mouse cursor over that icon, it will tell you your IP address.
User) I've got the cursor over the time, but nothing's coming up.
My team lead, when I relayed the above conversational snippet) Do you have the box the computer came in?
